Information Centre

Your Style Doors manufactures and distributes wardrobe doors to the whole of the U.K. We are a manufacturer, not a reseller (like others you will find on the internet) and this lets us provide you with a quality product at a great price - in a timely manner with friendly and efficient service.!

This area gives information about measuring up for sliding wardrobe doors, lining plates, end panels and fitting. How your order is managed, delivery and our terms are also explained.

How to Measure

We work to the opening width and height of where your doors set will go and certainly, for our installations we always like to 'measure twice and cut once'.

Lining Plates & End Panels

Strike Plates

A strike plate gives a good surface for your doors to butt up to and can also even out any irregularities in the wall surface of your opening.

If you want to use a strike plate at one or both wall ends then we will take this into account based on the opening sizes you have provided. (We make an allowance of 18mm for each strike plate you require.

Strike plates are usually over 2600mm long x 90mm wide x 18mm thick and can be trimmed to suit your opening.

Base Plates

If you want to use a base plate to ensure a good surface for the bottom track (if you are going onto carpet for example) then we will take this into account based on the opening sizes you have provided. (We make an allowance of 18mm for a base plate).

Base plates are usually over 2600mm long x 90mm wide x 18mm thick and can be trimmed to suit your opening.

End Panels

End Panels are used to provide and end point for your wardrobe if, for example, you are only working off one wall.

End panels are usually over 2600mm long x 610mm wide x 18mm thick and can be trimmed to suit your opening.

If you have any concerns about your measurements or want any additional comments or advice, please get in touch: 0844 870 0421 or e.mail us at  info@yourstyledoors.co.uk

Fitting Your Doors

Fitting instructions are given with every set of doors. For many openings fitting involves securing top and bottom tracking then putting the doors in place. Please get in touch if you have any queries on fitting: 0844 870 0421 or e.mail us at  info@yourstyledoors.co.uk
